Syst-M Cardinal, which was developed in 1991, is manufactured by Les Entreprises MDR Cardinal. This company is directed by Sylvain Cardinal, a farmer’s son of Mirabel. Sylvain’s father, Marcel Cardinal, had more and more difficulty in finding necessary labour for handling hay bales during harvests. He thus created this mechanized system to harvest hay in small square bales. This system includes an accumulator and a hook.
